About me

I am a filmmaker based in London. I direct and sometimes write independent short films. Often gentle and delicate, they tell intimate stories that are curious about nature, memory, family, and the interconection between nature and culture. Some inspirations include Wim Wenders, Andrei Tarkovsky and Apichatpong Weerasethakul.

My first film Sail in the Wind (2024) depicted a young-ish man’s grief and delayed coming-of-age in a decaying seaside town. My second film Contigo (coming 2024) was filmed on location in rural Spain. It explores a Palestinian woman struggling against the weight of the world to find connection with her partner, and sanctuary in nature.
These films are made on tight budgets, centred on unique locations and driven by collaboration with a tight group of artists.

I am an Assistant Producer at the Barbican Theatre, where I work with some of the most exciting and innovative theatre companies from around the world.

I am self-taught photographer and take event and BTS photos, though I mostly use it to capture the world around me and to explore my visual language, aesthetic and inspirations.

I have a background in Theatre; directing, writing and producing and previously trained in Directing and Mountview Drama School.

Education:

MA Directing - Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts (Distinction, 2020)

BA Film and Theatre - University of Bristol (2.1, 2016)
